Jennifer Ferrigno, Interim-Co-Director

Jen has been involved with NNIRR for over 20 years, most recently as our Associate Director since 2016. She has a background in the Central American solidarity movement, and was the West Coast Regional Director of CISPES in the 1990s, where her work led the organization to embrace the intersection of Central America solidarity with the rights of immigrants in the U.S. Through this effort, she began to work more closely with NNIRR and has been involved ever since. As Associate Director, Jennifer kept the organization running — working closely with the Board’s Executive Committee, managing fundraising, growing the Network’s grassroots support and facilitating our membership and internal communications.

As Co-Director, Jen will be responsible for daily operations of the organization, including communications, fundraising initiatives, and strategic program planning. Jen’s previous experience in nonprofit governance, working with organizational boards, and her extensive background in participatory education, communications and grant writing will be valuable assets in this new phase of the Network. Moreover, Jen’s grounding in international solidarity and familiarity with the broad scope of immigration issues are crucial to the Network’s navigation of the complex and challenging political environment.
