March Tomorrow for Climate Justice & Migrant Rights!

Going to the march in San Francisco tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 8)?

Look for the NNIRR banner (below) and march with us!

We’ll be in the “Migrant Justice” part of the “We Rise for Survival” section at the beginning of the march. Here’s a link to the map of contingents. The march begins at 11 am, but plan to arrive early to find your marching spot and participate in the opening ceremony.

For all the information on the march, visit the march logistics page of Rise for Climate, Jobs and Justice. You’ll find all the details on where to go, what to bring (and not bring) and what to do. Text 83224 to get live updates throughout the day, including Moments of Solidarity.

This is a critical time to lift our voices for real solutions to climate change. And we join with the many around the world who are also demanding that those who are displaced due to climate change, whether they remain within their countries or move across international borders, are treated with dignity and respect, and guaranteed their human rights and protections.

There will be actions all over the world tomorrow — view the map and live updates here.

For related migration activities during next week’s “Climate Week” in San Francisco, check out our post from earlier this week.
