Peace, justice and solidarity in the new year.

NNIRR wishes you and your loved ones a peaceful and healthy new year!

2021 proved to be an extremely challenging one, with many ups and downs for human rights amid the enduring pandemic, and much uncertainty still looms for migrant communities. You were with us every step of the way, taking action and supporting our efforts, and the wins we did gain this year are due to the tireless efforts of immigrant rights advocates and community members at the grassroots.

We thank you for your partnership!

2022 will surely be a year of escalating action and advocacy for all of us in the immigrant rights movement. We will continue the fight for inclusive citizenship for all, press to end to devastating programs such as MPP and Title 42, and advocate for fundamental rights protections for migrants and refugees.

This coming year, NNIRR will also be sharing our Spotlight Mapping and Documentation for Human Rights on the US-Mexico Borderlands, including an online mapping tool and report for community advocacy and action. And, leading up to the mid-term elections, we will be vigilant and responsive as we expect immigration issues to be a front and center wedge issue for candidates —the rhetoric of which will have potentially detrimental influence on immigration policy, and, ultimately, the lives of migrant families. Our organizing and advocacy will be more important than ever!

We hope that you will join us by supporting NNIRR’s work for immigrant and refugee rights.

There is still a chance to give a tax deductible donation to NNIRR before the end of the year!

Please donate before midnight December 31st, to help us shore up our resources for next year. And consider becoming a monthly sustainer. Recurring donations are vital to our ongoing work for justice!

We leave behind a year that has been full of continued uncertainty, heartache and struggle for so many. But it has also been a year in which solidarity and resilience have brought communities together and demonstrated the power of organizing.

NNIRR is part of dedicated movement that will keep the pressure on and persist on bringing forth much needed relief and change rooted in human rights principles. Our work will continue to strengthen grassroots engagement and lift community voices on needs and aspirations that are key to bringing about true relief, progress and rights for all immigrants and refugees.

Thank you for your friendship and support.

Peace in the New Year,

~ NNIRR
