Report highlights key human rights concerns for detained migrants in U.S.

The Special Rapporteur on the Human Rights of Migrants, Mr. Francois Crepeau, chose to focus on the issue of detained migrants for his first thematic report to the United Nations Human Rights Council.

The report will be presented at the 20th session of the Human Rights Council in June 2012 (Geneva).

In response to his solicitation for input and contributions from civil society groups from around the world, NNIRR with the Advocates for Human Rights and Rights Working Group, submitted a report highlighting key human rights concerns for immigrants detained in the U.S.
